Belkin Slim-Fit Case review

Belkin’s latest case, this time for Apple’s iPod Touch PMP, has arrived and is almost a perfect fit. Right off the bat I noticed it had just the right mix of suede and leather, along with a slim profile intended to be worn verticaly on your belt.

It does have a fixed clip on the back so not to worry about an unexpected swivel; of course, some people prefer the swivel for the general flexibity in positioning, but I like how the whole thing sits closer to the body with a fixed clip. A warning, though, to those who are particularly picky: the case doesn’t “hug” the Touch as well as it does the iPhone, and it’s not completely secured with the top being left open. It can be a little bit of a hassle to reach in and out all the time I found out, but surely tolerable.

As far as quality goes the leather smells good, the suede fells good, comfort is high as well; Belkin also gets points for not stabbing you when you sit down! The case is great for people on the move who demand a nice strong clip and easy access to their Touch. Definitely serves as ample protection for the iPod Touch, and I definitely recommend the case.
